On January 29, Anna Laromaine and Amanda Muñoz attended the Second BAR Meeting about C. elegans. Barcelona-based community of experts on the small worm met in the Bocconcino bar to talk about their research and experience in an informal setting.
Last Friday 10 of January, Amanda Muñoz – a PhD student in N&N Group – attended the award ceremony of the video competition “Yo Investigo Yo Soy CSIC” which took place in CSIC headquarters in Madrid.
Amanda Muñoz had the opportunity to attend a CSIC course titled Curso de Buenas Prácticas Científicas (Good practice in Science). It took place in La Casa de la Ciencia in Valencia. PhD students from different fields gathered there to learn and discuss:
Amanda Muñoz, master’s students at the N&N group, is participating on the nanoGUNE Winter School, which is held in the nanoGUNE facilities in San Sebastian (Spain). The School includes a combination of academic lectures, soft skills training sessions and hands-on lab practices. Amanda is learning about very diverse topics such us electrospinning, protein nanoparticles and photonics. We hope you enjoy the training and come back with fresh ideas!
